Set atop a mossy bluff with dramatic forest and lake views, this weekend getaway is designed to provide a variety of visual and physical connections to the site. A series of interconnected indoor and outdoor living spaces step down the bedrock slope, flanked by solid volumes containing bedrooms and utilities. Spanning the central void is a broad roof structure made of gridded plywood, providing deep overhangs for outdoor patios and a coffered ceiling for interior acoustic control.
