This exercise challenged students to design a residential tower on a narrow 25' x 120' site in Vancouver's downtown. This proposal seeks a symbiotic relationship with the neighbouring Scotia Dance Centre through multi-purpose rooms connected to the Centre's fifth-floor dance studio and rooftop events space. Multi-level gardens and a large light well improve livability for tenants. A brick brise-soleil provides sun shading and privacy to bedrooms.
